The VacuLUX HVE Adapter: Significantly More for Significantly Less

The VacuLUX HVE adapter was designed and engineered to offer dentists and dental hygienists all of the aerosol reduction and isolation of Zyris' and Dryshield's systems at a fraction of the cost while solving many of the problems associated with their systems.

Simple Installation

Plug the VacuLUX HVE adapter into your existing HVE valves for the simplest installation of a high-volume isolation system on the market. Insert the adapter just like your suction tips.

The VacuLUX was designed to fit all standard HVE valves and to rotate 360 degrees while maintaining a tight suction seal. The Dryshield adapter connects directly to your HVE hose, not valve, and does not rotate to prevent binding and pull from the hose.

Easily interchange between your suction tips and high volume isolation from one procedure to another with the VacuLUX adapter. Interchanging between Dryshield's or Zyris's Isovac and your HVE valve to use suction tips is not so easy. It requires difficult removal of their barbed adapters from your hose and re-installation of your valve for each interchange as well as for autoclave sterilization.

The VacuLUX's simple installation also allows for portability between rooms. Simply pull out the adapter from the valve and go from one room to another. Dryshield does offer a cumbersome portability kit for an additional cost that plugs into your valve for easy removal. However, your system is then impeded by two noisy valves, your HVE valve and the Dryshield valve.

Keep high-volume isolation simple with and easy with the VacuLUX HVE adapter.

Illumination by the HyperLUX Light Engine

Enjoy the option to add illumination to your Dryshield or Zyris mouthpieces at any time. All of the VacuLUX HVE adapters are equipped with an embedded borosilicate glass light guide to flood your workspace with shadowless illumination by easily coupling to our HyperLUX light engine.

Our portable light engine magnetically couples to the VacuLUX adapter through our patented system, transferring up to 140,000 LUX of bright, white light through a fiber optic light guide.

This portable illumination system can be shared between rooms. The light engine runs on rechargeable lithium ion batteries and does not require any complicated installation or power hookup for use. Zyris' Isolite system costs $1895, and is permanently installed at your chair.

You can upgrade to add illumination to your VacuLUX HVE adapter at any time for only $369. If you choose to go with Zyris' Isodry or Isovac systems (non-illuminated), you cannot later upgrade to add illumination without purchasing and installing a complete new system, the Isolite system.

Dryshield's system does not offer an option for illumination. The VacuLUX HVE adapter, however, can illuminate Dryshield's mouthpieces, both autoclavable and disposable. Additionally, the multi-use HyperLUX light engine powers all of Ascentcare's other illuminated dental instruments with same magnetic coupling fiber optic system.

Alluminum Construction

Lightweight and very durable, the VacuLUX is made with 7075 aerospace grade anodized aluminum. Weighing only one-ounce, the adapter itself is very comfortable for your patient.

The aluminum construction of the VacuLUX allows for repeated autoclaving without breaking down and needing costly replacement over time like plastic constructed adapters. With increases in safety protocols, daily autoclaving is a feature many dentists are opting for.

Our adapter was designed to be valve-free for multiple reasons. The one-piece design is simple to sterilize and does not require time-consuming disassembly and reassembly like Zyris's systems. There is no maintenance of o-rings or parts to be repaired or replaced over time.

One of the biggest complaints about Zyris' and Dryshield's systems is the unavoidable noise of air movement past their valves. Noise next to your patient's ear makes it difficult to communicate and overall an unpleasant experience.

By designing our adapter without a noisy, built-in valve, we have given dentists the option to remove the noise with our Whisper Lite Kit. This hose extension kit allows you to keep your HVE valve docked at your table and attaches directly to our adapter. This removes the sound of the valve away from your patient's ear, removes weight and increases comfort.
